Lyrics

Homeless in Hollywood

Jenny’s just an actress with her hopes as big as the bright blue sky
She has dreams to be a movie star like so many others have been denied.
Her Dad can’t understand and he’s so worried, he worries all the time.

He knows she’s only 23, and he know she’s just to pretty.
She might be too young for this game,
So she packed her bags she left her home, just to make her name.
She’d rather be Homeless in Hollywood, Homeless in Hollywood
Just trying to make it through the day.

So Jenny gets to California, Sun is shining It’s a beautiful day.
She meets with an agent who says ”Honey I can show you the way”
So they go to his apartment for a talk, but he begs her to stay
And Jenny’s ha d a couple drinks and she’s so tired it’s been a really long day.

He knows she’s only 23, and he know she’s just to pretty.
She might be too young for this game,
So she spent the night, they had a fight , and she’s the only one to blame.
She’d rather be Homeless in Hollywood, Homeless in Hollywood
just trying to make it through the day.

Bridge:
Jenny sleeps with one eye open
She’s too embarrassed to go back home
I guess she’s just another Lost angel,
Another lost angel on her own
